Mrs. Floyd Edna Young, 75, of Hillsboro went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2006. She was the daughter of Lee Harrison and Mary Elizabeth Cummins Sanders On Sept. 13, 1949, Edna married Floyd Leon Young in Hillsboro. She worked for HISD in the cafeteria; managed Tacker Drive Inn for many years and worked at Vesuvius in Hillsboro until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Hillsboro and was very active to her church, family and friends. She enjoyed baking cakes and giving them as gifts. Edna was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She dedicated her life to her God and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd on Oct. 9, 1996; sister, Francis Timmons; brothers, Harold and George Sanders; infant sister, Imogene Sanders and grandson, Cody Allen. Survivors include her children, Teresa Allen and husband, Dennis of Hillsboro; Tony Young of Hillsboro; brothers, Doyce Sanders of Arkansas, Charles Sanders and wife, Stell of Jacksboro;sisters, Gracie Reinart and husband Romain of White Settlement, Bessie Allen of Lakeside Village; numerous special sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, grandchildren, Levin Ainsworth and wife, Saralynn of Hillsboro, Kelly Ainsworth and spouse, Tommy Jones of Hillsboro, Apryl Apland of Whitney, Tyler Young of Stephenville; great grandchildren, Christian and Scott Ainsworth of Hillsboro, Dazia Apland of Whitney, Cheyenne Ainsworth of Hillsboro, Evan Jones of Hillsboro.
