Myra Mcminn

Myra Lee McMinn, 94 of Hillsboro passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at a local nursing home. She was born on Feb. 2, 1918 in Irene, Texas to Elbert Lee and Myra (Melton) Moore.

Myra Lee lived in the Frost area most of her life. On October 6, 1936, she married John N. McMinn. John preceded her in death on July 2, 1983. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Melton Moore and a sister, Elberta Winn Nichols.

Myra Lee was a member of First Baptist Church in Frost. She is survived by two children, Marilyn Garrison and husband, Jim of Waco and Mike McMinn and wife, Barbara of Waxahachie; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
