Nanette Greenhill

Nanette Odom Greenhill, 65, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Darrel Beggs officiating. Burial will follow at Peoria Cemetery in Peoria. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014, at the funeral home.

Nanette was born October 16, 1949 in Hillsboro to Estell and Velma (Martin) Odom. On July 30, 2004, she married David Greenhill. For 12 years, she worked at Canterbury Villa Nursing Home in Hillsboro as the dietician. She also worked at Owen’s Illinois Glass Plant in Waco, Cercon in Hillsboro, Tacker’s Drive Inn in Hillsboro, and the Hillsboro Junior High cafeteria. Currently, she had been the assistant manager for Tucker Apartments and Meadows Apartments in Hillsboro. In her spare time, Nanette enjoyed being in the outdoors, at the lake, and camping. She was an avid animal lover, especially horses and dogs. Her family and grandchildren is what she loved most in life. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Ed Odom; and sister, Myrtle Jane Whitlock.

Survivors include her husband, David Greenhill of Hillsboro; children, Douglas Huse and wife, Helena, of Duncanville, Corey Mullins and wife, Miranda, of Red Oak, Steely Clark of Axtell, Stacey Clark of Winder, Georgia, Doug Lang of Middletown, Ohio, and Joshua Greenhill of Hillsboro; brother, Lester Joe Odom of Lake Jackson; sister, Dell Greenhill of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, James, Sean, and Keri Huse, Holley, Caleb, Ethan, and Hannah Mullins, and Blake Clark; life-long friend, Debbie Dickinson Pugh and husband, Roger, of Hillsboro; brothers-in-law: Jim Greenhill and wife, Susan, and Wayne Greenhill, all of Hillsboro; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
