Nettie Mae (Parker) Stephens

Nettie Mae (Parker) Stephens, 87, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, in Itasca.  Nettie was born August 27, 1935, to Bruce and Frankie Mae (Randalls) Parker, in Des Arc, Arkansas.

A strong lady, Nettie was a fighter, especially when it came to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed raising flowers in her garden and rode a bicycle often.  Nettie was always honest in her feelings towards others (you could always tell if she liked you or did not like you…).

Nettie is preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Jimmy Stephens, Lloyd Stephens and Malcolm Stephens; Her brothers, Larry Williams, R D Williams, and Bruce Williams; and her sister, Ethel Lorine Vaughn.  She is survived by her children, Billy Stephens, Anthony Stephens, George Stephens, Larry Wayne Stephens, Bobby Stephens, Delois Stephens, Jamie Esilick, Marie Duncan, Diane Davis, and Michelle Inman; Her brother, Dale Williams; her sisters, Marilyn Effington, and Velma Schrate; and 185 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
