Nicole Danford

Nicole Leigh Danford, age 18, of Whitney passed away July 30, 2011.

Memorial Service will be at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the Whitney High School Gym in Whitney with Dr. James Haner and Pastor Michael McReynolds officiating.

Nicole was born February 10, 1993 in Dallas to Dave and Pam (Schmidt) Danford . At age 8, her family moved to Whitney and she graduated from Whitney High School in 2011 where she was a honor student. Nicole was very athletic, participating in volleyball, basketball, track, cheerleading, golf and cross-country. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Whitney.

Preceding Nicole in death were her maternal grandparents, Ronald and Donna Schmidt and paternal grandmother, Maxine Jezek.

Survivors include parents Dave and Pam Danford of Whitney and paternal grandfather, Bill Danford of Whitney. Aunt Michele Sexton and uncle Mike Serrato of Clifton; aunt and uncle Lisa Doering and Karl Doering of Pipe Creek, Texas; aunt and uncle, Kim and Gary Jezek of Graham, WA; cousin Clyde Doering, San Angelo, Texas; cousins Anna and Deanna Jezek of Graham, WA; great aunt and uncle Beverly and Dick Metzger of Milwaukee, WI.
