Nina Ashley

Nina was the daughter of George Henry and Winnie Yocham Johnson. She grew up in the Osceola community where she attended school. In May of 1947 she married Larry Ashley. For many years she lived in Oregon before moving back to Texas in 1964. On April 5, 1981, she married Edward C. Underdown and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Nina Sue Ashley of Fort Worth, and Janet Phillips of Blum; 1 brother, Dean Rudolph Johnson and wife Wilma of Fort Worth; 4 grandchildren, Anthony Utter and wife Sarah of Kennewick, WA, Larry Utter and wife Jessica of Salem, OR, Donald Phillips of Blum, and Janina Macias and husband Louis of Keiser, OR; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
