Noble was born on May 7, 1920, in Slagle, Louisiana, to Charles Albert and Mattie Elizabeth (Thomas) Moore. During World War II, he served his country in the United States Army from February 13, 1942 until October 19, 1945. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.

Prior to his military service, Noble served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and he was a Texas Golden Gloves boxer fighting his way up the ranks in the Lightweight Division. He was blessed with an active lifestyle that extended well into his 80's. Noble loved to entertain crowds of people at the West Playdium with his masterful diving performances, and at home he enjoyed making his kids and grandkids laugh by walking on his hands. He also enjoyed water-skiing, hunting, fishing and dancing. After he retired in 1995, he started his own landscaping business and he worked up until the time he entered the nursing home at the young age of 91. Noble’s favorite passion of all was spending time with family and friends where he loved to tell jokes and share stories of times past.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mattie Moore, three brothers; Joe, Billy Jean and Odell Moore and two sisters; Lettie and Iowa.

He is survived by his children, Larry Moore and wife Adela of La Coste, Gary Moore and wife Gloria of Hamilton, Terry Moore and wife Linda of Clifton and Greg Moore of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Moore and wife Alex of Waco, Dustin Moore and wife Kaitlyn of Fredericksburg, Matthew Moore and wife Adrinne of North Ft.
