Nogie Jones

N. L. Jones, 68 of Blum passed away at his residence on June 11, 2011.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at Mt. Bethel Cemetery in Gary, Texas.

N. L. was born on January 21, 1943 in Gary. He was the son of the late Harvey and Annie (Graves) Jones. On May 28, 1966, he married Susan Moore in Carthlege. He served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He owned a trucking company. N. L. was a member of the Masonic Lodges in Whitney and Gary. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Jones was a tenth generation Texan.

Survivors include his wife Susan of Blum; children, Jill Jones Jacobs ad husband Aaron of Burleson, Seth Jared Jones of Blum; sister, Sammie Sitton and husband James of La Porte; grandchild, Laurel Lee Jacobs of Burleson.
