Nola Girault

Nola Girault, 93, of Keene, formerly of Hillsboro, died Thursday, January 5, 2006, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Keene. Nola was born January 26, 1912 in Hillsboro the daughter of Frances and Lillie Lewis Lowe. She lived in Hillsboro most of her life. In June 1934 she married Bryan Girault and he preceded her in death on October 31, 2003. She was a housewife and member of College Hill Church of Christ. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Laverne High; two brothers, Travis and Alphie Lowe; and one sister, Maedell Bailey. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Betty Hight of Cleburne; brother, O. D. Lowe; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Cherokee Children?s Home.
