Nora Mcmahan

Nora McMahan, 88, of Junction died Wednesday, January 21, 2009, in Junction. Nora was born November 15, 1920 in the Bynum area of Hill County the daughter of George Henry and Clyde Mae Frazier Millard. She graduated from Bynum High School. In 1947 she married Andy McMahan and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2001. They lived in Fort Worth from 1950 to 1998 when they moved to Junction. She attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Junction. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a sister. Survivors include two children, Candy Mallonee and husband, Leslie, of San Antonio and Mac McMahan of Junction; brother, George F. Millard of Bynum; two grandchildren, Meredith Chacon and husband, Raymond, and David Mallonee and wife, Misty, all of San Antonio; and three great-grandchildren, Madelyn Chacon, Andrew Chacon, and Jack Mallonee. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, 1111 Herring Ave., Waco, TX 76708.
