Norma Wilkerson

Norma Jean Medley Wilkerson, 66, of Whitney passed away on January 9, 2008 in Fort Worth. She was born on March 21, 1941 in Vashti, Texas, to Thomas and Mae Barnett Medley. She grew up in Ringgold, Texas and graduated from Goldberg High School in 1949 as valedictorian of the class. On December 30, 1960, she married Royce Wilkerson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Whitney. Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Jerry and Eddie Ray Medley. Survivors include her husband, Royce; children, Kevin and Pat Wilkerson of Fort Worth, Keith Wilkerson of Whitney; brothers, Thomas and Nena Medley and Bobby and Nadene Medley of Irrigon, OR; sisters, Marlene and Bob Miller of Nocona and Sandy McWhorter and Jerry of Celeste; grandsons, James Wilkerson of Arlington and Cody Wilkerson of Whitney In lieu of flowers you may make a memorial to the Cancer Society of your choice.
