Norman Clark, 57 of Whitney passed away on November 11, 2011.

Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Cremation will follow later.

Norman was born on February 25, 1954 in Raymondville, the son of the late Lloyd Eli and Ruby Evelyn (Bernard) Clark. He grew up in Baytown and joined the United States Marines in 1972 and served in Viet Nam. On June 14, 1980, he married Gertrude Ray. Norman had worked as a crane operator in the construction business. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, hunting, Nascar racing and ice hockey.

Also preceding him in death was his sister, Phyllis Ann Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude of Whitney; sons, Justin Clark and wife, Cassandra of Huntsville, Aaron Clark of Whitney; brother, James Clark of Whitney; sisters, Karla Stubbs of Fort Worth, Paulette Clark of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Lance Clark, Abigail Beasley; several nieces, nephews and many friends that loved him dearly.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1700 Lake Success Dr., Waco, TX 76710
