Novelle Byrd

Noevelle B. Byrd, 87, of Hillsboro, died Friday, October 14, 2005 at Hill Regional Hospital. Noevelle was born August 20, 1918 in Chireno, Texas the daughter of William H. and Lola Shippey Byrd. She grew up and lived in Nacogdoches and Angelina counties all of her life. she married Reginald Reagan and Tony A. Byrd and they both preceded her in death. For many years she worked at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. For the last five years she lived in Hillsboro in the North Texas Airstream Community. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Nacogdoches and the North Texas Airstream Club in Hillsboro. Her parents and two brothers also preceded her in death. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Glazener Byrd of Hillsboro; two nieces, Mary Byrd O?Grady of Plano and Anne Byrd Sanders of De Soto; and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nephews.
