Odell Morris

Odell Randolph Morris, 80, of Whitney passed away on April 29, 2008. He was the son of Vesta and Fay Walsenham Morris. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from July 18, 1952 to April 17, 1954. He was a 23 year member of the American Legion Post #522 in Whitney. He worked for Gifford Hill retiring in 1972. Preceding him in death were his parents, four sisters and one brother. Survivors include his niece, Dottie Lawson of Whitney, nephew, Franklin Bryan of Fort Worth, niece, Ruby Ann Bynard of Georgia and lifelong friend, Bernice Elder of Meridian Memorials: American Legion Post #522, PO Box 1133, Whitney, TX 76692
