Oleta Fulcher

Oleta May Fulcher, 97, of Clifton went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 22, 2019, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Hillcrest in Waco.  She is at her heavenly home now.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Trail To The Cross Cowboy Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Kenny Kennedy officiating.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church.

Oleta was born on August 2, 1922, in Mexia, Texas to Marvin Clyde Kinsel and Bertha Lee Aline Gresham, along with her twin sister, Juanita Faye.  She grew up and lived in Texas most of her life.  She was one of seven children who all preceded her in death, except her twin sister and best friend, Juanita Faye.

On January 28, 1945, Oleta was united in marriage to the love of her life, Lynn V. Fulcher.  Her occupation was housewife and mother.  She loved caring for her family.  You could always find her preparing a home cooked meal or out in the yard playing baseball, volleyball , or whatever us kids were doing at the time.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.  She was adored by all.

Oleta loved the Lord and always found a church home wherever she lived.  She could be heard in the kitchen or anywhere she was, singing praises to God.  She loved to sing.

She loved a good game of dominoes or 42.  Her and Juanita were avid game players.  Oleta loved her Dallas Cowboys.  She was an ever faithful fan.  Win or lose, she was always a fan.

Oleta was preceded in death by an infant son, Lynn Rouse; adopted son, Stephen Schwettmann; husband of 47 years, Lynn Fulcher; mom and dad, Marvin and Bertha Kinsel; three brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Pollard and husband, George, of Temple, Bertha Nelson of Hillsboro, Mary Sartar of Laguna Park; eight grandchildren, Frank Grier of Houston, Donna Wheeler of Needville, Wayne Nelson of Hillsboro, Brandi Foster of Hillsboro, Christopher Goodman of Mesquite, Renee Morgan of Eagle River, Alaska, Justin Schwettmann of Axtell, and Tamara Schwettmann of Waco; sister, Juanita Faye Pate; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
