Opal Mccown

Opal T. McCown was born July 8, 1922 in Whiney, Texas. Mrs. McCown worked for many years at the Department of Energy in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. McCown; her son, James T. McCown; and one brother, Wilburn Taylor. Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn McCown and Linda Stucker both of Albuquerque, NM; a son-in-law, Mitchell Stucker of Albuquerque, NM; six brothers, Joe Taylor of Whitney, Weldon Taylor of Carrolton, Johnnie Taylor of DeSoto, Walton Taylor of Hurst, James Taylor of Kerrville, and Clifton Taylor of Kennedale; and three sisters, Mabel Stroud of Granbury, Verna Harris of Kerrville, and Gracie Callaway of Whitney.
