Orval Johnson

Orval B. Johnson, 86, of Waco died Wednesday, November 15, 2006, at his residence. Orval was born February 5, 1920 in the Woodbury Community of Hill County, Texas the son of Benjamin Levington and Ocie Yocham Johnson. He grew up and attended school in the Shiloh community of Hill County. On May 4, 1940 he married Dorothy Lee James in Grandview. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Bellmead. Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lee Johnson of Waco; children, Ronnie Johnson and wife, Mary, of Bellmead, Roy Dale Johnson and wife, Betty, of West, Raphael Johnson and wife, Rita, of West, and Gale Cogliati and husband, Dennis, of Waco; brother, Bill Conway Johnson of Wills Point; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 1512 Lake Air Suite #120, Waco, TX 76710.
