Pablo Montes

Pablo Montes, 23, of Grandview died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Fort Worth. Pabloe was born June 21, 1987 in Waco, TX the son of Juan Manuel and Sandy Fuentes Montes. He grew up in Grandview and graduated from Rio Vista High School in 2009. He played basketball and enjoyed drawing. When he was 15, the Make-A-Wish Foundation enabled him to meet his idol, The Rock, at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. He was a member of The Potter House Experience in Hillsboro. Preceding him in death were his mother, Sandy Fuentes Montes, and his grandparents, Pablo and Josephine Montes. Survivors include his father, Juan Manuel Montes of Brownfield; three brothers, Paul Fuentes and Juan Manuel Montes, Jr. both of Uvalde and Joe Montes, Jr. of Waco; two sisters, Mary Lou Montes of Three Rivers and Cynthia Montes Rodriguez of Waco; aunt, Rose Marshall of Grandview, whom he was raised by from the age of four; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
