Pamela Ann (Novicki) Larson left this world in God’s hands on June 14, 2017. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. on June 29, 2017, at White Bluff Chapel outside of Whitney, Texas.
Pamela was born on November 15, 1948, in North Platte, Nebraska, to Mike and Louise Novicki. She endured a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease, always with a smile on her face and a willingness to not let it get her down. A childhood in Alliance, Nebraska was filled with her love of music and love of her family. She graduated from Alliance HS in 1967 and the University of Nebraska in 1970.
On June 5, 1970, she married Tom (Gus) Larson of Wahoo, Nebraska. His career took them all over the country and Pam made the transitions seem smooth. Golfing and playing her string bass or guitar filled what little spare time she had. A casino or two also helped her pass the time.
Her love of family was unmatched. She is survived by her husband, Gus, of Whitney, TX; son, Dane Larson and wife, Felicia of Round Rock, daughter, Kimberly Ruth of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Brady, Tyce, Tyler and Kolby, who cherished their G’ma Pam; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lanny and Martha Larson of Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by her 100 year old great-aunt, Mabel Rader, of Alliance, NE; and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests “Donate in Tribute” in Pam’s honor to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
