Pat Cain

Pat Cain, 78, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Homestead Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hillsboro. He was born November 13, 1930 in Hillsboro the son of William Floyd and Bettie Jewel Poe Cain. He graduated from Bynum High School. For over 50 years he worked in the automotive industry as a salesman and also owned and operated used car lots. In 1980 he married Sandra Cox. A lover of the outdoors and animals, he raised exotic birds and farm animals as a hobby. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding him in death were his parents and a step-son, Mac McLellan. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Cain of Hillsboro; daughters, Vicki Crain and husband, Sam, and Cheri Cain of Hillsboro all of Hillsboro; step-daughter, Shannon Covey of Hillsboro; brother, Gene Cain and wife, Glenda, of Corsicana; sister, Lois Millard and husband, George, of Bynum; grandson, Matt Crain and wife, Nicole, of Hillsboro; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandsons, Gus & Dub Crain; and five step-great grandchildren.
