Patricia Ann (Piland) Ward

Patricia Ann (Patti) Ward, age 78, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 30, 2023 in Whitney, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, June 2, 2023 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 3, 2023 at Marshall and Marshall. A burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.

Patti was an outgoing person, always ready with a hug and words of encouragement. There were times she would say anything that was on her mind and she did not hold anything back, but that was how she was! Patti was loved and will be missed by so many!

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 40 years Martis Ward; daughters, Julie Reed and husband Keith, Leah Rhodes and husband Derick and Laura Ward; sons, Jeromy Gant and wife Mandy, Adam Ward and wife Jennifer, Clint Ward and wife Sisha; Grandchildren: Justin Reed, Matthew Reed, Mandy McFall and husband Chad, Logan Warrick, Lane Warrick, Daisy Rhodes, Brendon Rhodes, Dustin Gant and wife Elizabeth, Emily Gant, Xander Ward, Kaden Ward, Axl Ward, Benjamin Palacio, Levi Palacio, Noah Palacio. Great granddaughters: Lylah McFall, Landry McFall. Her cherished mother-in-law Laura Nell Ward and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law VJ Ward, great granddaughter Kensie Jo McFall, Grandparents Bessie and R.H. Piland (who raised her), and many other relatives.
