Patricia Ann (Zett) Chitwood

Patricia Ann (Zett) Chitwood passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 76. Visitation will be held at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas, on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM, followed by a brief graveside service at Itasca Cemetery at 2:00 PM.

She was born October 4, 1947, in Tacoma, Washington to John Sr. and Olga Zett. Patricia enjoyed reading, especially vampire novels, and watching science fiction and history television and QVC. She had a knack for purchasing gifts, which brought a lot of laughs and sometimes had unique rules and instructions but would bring a smile to our faces and provide memories for a lifetime. Known to many as simply “G,” she was loved more than words can ever express. Patricia loved her children and grandchildren and was beyond proud of them.

Patricia is preceded in death by her son, Joe Dean Zett; her parents, John Zett Sr. and Olga (Janek) Zett; and her brother, John Zett Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Cinnamon Barnes; her grandchildren, Tara and Christopher Barnes; her brother, Gary Zett; her sister, Sharon Zett; her granddaughter-in-law, Melody Barnes; Billy Hooten and several nieces and nephews.
