Patricia Edmondson

Patricia Tisdale Edmondson, 78, of Laguna Park passed away on January 30, 2011 in Fort Worth.

Chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 4 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Chaplain Herb Lammert officiating. Entombment will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5 at Llano Cemetery and Mausoleum in Amarillo. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Patricia was born on September 27, 1932 in Amarillo; the daughter of the late Jesse and Trixie Ticer Tisdale. On March 22, 1949 she married Donald Wayne Edmondson. She first went to work for Southwestern Drug and later worked as a receptionist at the Amarillo Dental Building. After moving to Arlington in 1980, she owned and operated a jewelry business for more than 15 years until her retirement. She moved from Arlington to Laguna Park in 1988.

She was an avid scrap booker. Her family always came first and they considered Thanksgiving to be her favorite holiday to be together. She tried to be the best in everything she tackled. She was a Christian lady and believed in God with all her heart and soul. She was a member of the Christian Church. Pat will be forever remembered by her kind words and infectious laughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne on January 31, 2010 and her son Richard Leslie Edmondson.

Patricia is survived by her children, Don Edmondson of Laguna Park, Brad Edmondson and wife Shelly of Laguna Park, Kendall Edmondson and wife Teri of Joshua; daughter-in-law Nicci Edmondson Cooper and husband Leonard of Clarksville, TN; brother, James Williamson of Fort Worth; sisters, Marilyn Benge of Fort Worth, Sharon Laird of Ruidoso, NM; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
