Patricia Houston

Patricia K. Wylie Houston was born on October 4, 1940 in Duluth, MN to James L. and Catherine Wylie. She grew up in Duluth with her three sisters: Pam, Kathy and Peggy. On May 16, 1961, Patricia married Gordon D. Avritt in Duluth and they later gave birth to two kids: Lisa and Michael. On February 1, 1969, she married James D. Rohwer and they moved to Ottumwa, IA in 1969 and later gave birth to Christopher in 1972. Patricia obtained her teaching degree from Buena Vista College in 1986. She moved to Hillsboro, TX in 1987 and taught at Hillsboro Elementary School from 1988 to 2003 when she retired. On October 11, 2000 she married Thomas ?Ted? E. Houston of Whitney, TX and her family grew to include his four children. Patricia had fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lloyd and Catherine Bernadine Wylie; husbands, Gordon Duane Avritt, James Dean Rohwer and stepdaughter, Coleen Delatour.
