Patricia Posey

Patricia Ann Wright Posey, 75, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Wesley Woods Nursing Home in Waco. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014, at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana with Rev. Amy Anderson officiating.

Born August 23, 1939 in Paris, Texas, she was the daughter of Jacob Cody and Synthann Maurine (Osborn) Wright. She graduated from Corsicana High School and attended Trinity University. In the mid 1990's, Patty retired from Hillsboro ISD as a school secretary. An active member of First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, she was also a member of Hill County Republican Women and volunteered for many organizations including Meals on Wheels. Patty enjoyed playing Bunco, traveling, going out to eat with friends, dancing, gardening, and tending to flowers. Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Jeffrey Allen Farmer on June 23, 2000.

Survivors include her son, Joe H. Farmer, III and wife, Cheryl, of Hillsboro; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
