Patsy Sides

Patsy Sides, 78, Fort Worth died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House in Fort Worth. Patsy was born November 14, 1929 in Hillsboro, Texas the daughter of Wilber W. and Mamie Ozella Campbell Jordan. She grew up in Hillsboro where she graduated from Hillsboro High School. On July 1, 1950 she married Billy R. Sides in Fort Worth. The couple has lived in Fort Worth since 1966. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. Patsy enjoyed crafts, especially sewing and making ceramic dolls. She also enjoyed taking care of her plants. Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Patricia Crowe in 1995; and an infant brother, James Campbell Jordan. Survivors include her husband, Billy R. Sides of Fort Worth; daughter, Brenda Humphreys and husband, Kim, of Fort Worth; son-in-law, Randy Crowe of Abilene; four sisters, Bobbie Curlee of Waxahachie, Velva Kimbrow and Leora McLean both of Hillsboro and Ruth Williams of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Justin, Michelle, and Michael Humphreys all of Fort Worth, Jennifer Lechler of College Station, and Kassie and Brian Crowe both of Abilene; one great-granddaughter, Camden Grace Lechler of College Station; and several nieces and nephews.
