Patsy Ann Snow

Patsy Ann (Greenhill) Snow, of the Bethel community in Hill County, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Hillsboro. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2025, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Patsy, a direct descendent of an original Hill County family(Allison), was born July 8, 1939, in Hillsboro, Texas, to Thomas and Alline (Allison) Greenhill. She spent her childhood in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, where she enjoyed her teenage years at McAllen High School, but often spoke fondly of spending summers with her siblings and cousins at their grandparents’ home in the Bethel community of Hill County. She met Edward Clark Snow, and they were united in marriage on September 22, 1956.

Patsy and Ed and their children moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico in 1965 where she soon became very involved in her church, leading the effort to serve many a dinner, reception or potluck. She lovingly served as a teacher in the infant room at The Ark Child Development Center for over fifteen years, eventually becoming the assistant director. She also served as a softball coach and eventually commissioner of the local Lassie League. Some of her favorite pastimes included playing cards and other games, watching football, and traveling to visit places of historical significance or to see out-of-town family. She was a dedicated and highly welcomed cheerleader for her children and grand/great-grandchildren in every activity they undertook.

After retirement, Ed and Pat moved to her beloved Hill County where they enjoyed visits from their grandchildren and great grandchildren as often as possible.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Kenneth Greenhill. Survivors include her children, Julianna Duncan (Stephen), Sharilyn Snow, Allison Snow, and Edward Snow, Jr. (Beth); grandchildren, Amanda Dixon (Luke), Cindy Baden (Jonny), Mallory Duncan (Katie), Mitchell Duncan, Alline Snow (Brayden), and Cassie Snow; and great grandchildren, Hannah, Nolan, Kylie, Kathryn, Clark, Logan, Henry, Scotty, and Lizzie.
