Patsy Thomas

Patsy Thomas age 70, of Whitney passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at a Waco nursing facility . Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, October 29, 2014, at Bethelehem Cemetery in Whitney with Pastor John Moore, Steiner Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Patsy was born on November 26, 1943, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to Harry and Nell (Copeland) Brewer. She spent most of her life in Texas, moving to the Whitney area 33 years ago. On March 29, 2001, she married Prather Thomas and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2013. For several years, she worked at the Whitney hospital as a receptionist.

She enjoyed being around her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, John Bean.

She is survived by children, Brenda Harding of Whitney, John Leal
of Whitney, Freddie Leal and wife, Stacie of West, Les Thomas of College Station and James Thomas of Whitney; grandchildren, Jessica Johnston and husband, James, Tristen Harding, Cody Leal, Brian Leal, Kristina Leal, Timothy Thomas, Kendall Thomas, Stefanie Marquis, Reagen Thomas, Gabriel Leal; great-granchildren, Rustin and Rilyn Johnston and Mattilye Marquis; brothers, Ronnie Brewer and wife, Brenda of Covington, Steve Brewer and Mike Brewer of Tennessee.
