Paul Elijah Brown passed away on March 2, 2005 in Whitney. He was the son of M. A. and Katy Pool Brown. He married Marjorie Mason on April 2, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas. During World War II he served his country in the United States Army with the 602 Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was in the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium. Paul owned and operated Brown and Love Electric and Air Conditioning in Cleburne for many years. He loved to fish and camp, was a member of Whitney Church of Christ and a lifetime member DAVA. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, James Brown, Matthew Brown, Harpie Brown and daughter, Deborah. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Brown of Whitney; children, Paula Jones and husband, Thomas G. of Cleburne, Michelle Brown of Austin; brothers: Winiford Brown and wife, Bonnie of Whitney, Johnny Brown of California; sisters, Edna Earle Hudson of Alvarado; grandson: Clinton Jay Davis and wife, Brandy of Cleburne, great grandchildren, Austin Davis and Madelyn Davis of Cleburne. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Heart, PO Box 2081, Whitney, TX 76692
