Paul H. Miller

Paul H. Miller, 90, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023.  Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro, with Levin Ainsworth officiating. Visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, June 9, 2023, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Paul was born September 22, 1932, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Frank E. and Virgie (Tittle) Miller.  He married Leatrice Johnson on November 17, 1959, in Marietta, Oklahoma.

A dairyman at heart, Paul loved being on a farm.  He owned and operated Miller Feed Store in Hillsboro for seventeen years.  Paul also worked for the railroad in Cleburne.  He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hillsboro.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Earl Miller and James R. Miller; his sister, Mary Kay Underwood; his in laws, AJ and Evelyn Johnson; and brother-in-law, Olis Johnson.  He is survived by his wife, Leatrice Miller; his sons, Paul H. (Butch) Miller, Jr. and wife, Donna, Phillip Miller and wife, Lisa, Preston Miller and wife, Yvonne, Patrick Miller and wife, Kim, and Perry Miller and wife, Lori; his brother, Larry Miller and wife, Sharon; his siter, Peggy Reid; his sisters in law, Joan and her husband, Virgil Hilton, and Lona Baker; sixteen grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
