Paul Stout, Jr., 69, of Cleburne, passed away on April 12, 2014, in Arlington. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 18, 2014, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Rev. Tony Tawater of the Lone Willow Baptist Church in Cleburne, officiating. Visitation will be before the service at the cemetery.
Paul was born on February 18, 1945, in Cleburne, to Paul Stout, Sr., and Pauline (Guthrie) Stout and grew up there. He served in the United States Army. A love of camping and traveling by train took him to 49 of our 50 states, all except Hawaii. He also enjoyed reading books and watching westerns. As a commercial painter, he painted houses and buildings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Virgil Stout.
He is survived by his children, Johnny Stout and wife, Ginger of Cleburne, Rickey Stout and wife, Tammy, of Arkansas, Woody Stout and wife Rebecca and Daniel Stout, all of Oklahoma; brothers, Ronald Stout and wife, Brenda, of Whitney, Ricky Stout and wife, Patricia, of Denton, Jerry Stout of Blum; sisters, Charlotte Martin of Blum and Martha Bentle of Seymour; 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Paul’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
