Pauline Bennett

Pauline was the daughter of Rodger and Rosetta Gotcher DeHart. She grew up and finished high school in Peoria and married Dennis Bennett on July 6, 1935. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1996. She was co-owner, with her husband, of Bennett's Grocery for many years and she also ranched for several years. As a member of First Baptist Church of Hillsboro, she taught Sunday school class and vacation Bible school. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. Mrs. Bennett is survived by sons: Dean Paul Bennett and wife, Brenda of Hillsboro; Carl Max Bennett and wife, Carolyn of Corsicana. Grandchildren: Stephen Bennett of Whitney, Scott Bennett and wife, Sarah of Hubbard, Lynn Gatlin and husband, Tony of Corsicana, Brian Bennett of Waco, Jeffrey Bennett and wife, DeAnna of Corsicana, three great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters.Memorials may be made to: First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
