Pauline Cockerham

Pauline Gorham Cockerham, 79, of Milford died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Trinity Mission Health & Rehabilitation in Italy, Texas. Pauline was born November 28, 1928 in Hillsboro, Texas the daughter of Ray Emmet and Alma Wood Gorham. She grew up, graduated high school, and lived most of her life in Milford. On April 30, 1947 she married Jay Cockerham Jr. and he preceded her in death on December 12, 2004. For many years she was a beauty operator. She loved the outdoors and taking walks on the ranch with her dog. She was a loving caregiver to her family and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Milford. Also preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors her son, Ray Cockerham and wife, Emily, of Milford; twin sister, Zirline Sevier and husband, Doyle, of Milford; two grandchildren, D'Aun Kastor and Michelle Cockerham; four great-grandchildren, Jared and Jordan Kastor and Emily and Evan Cunningham; niece, Sabra Schronk and husband, Donald, of Bynum; and close friends, Maurine and Linnie Powell of Milford.
