Pauline Corpier, 93, of Hillsboro died Sunday, January 20, 2007, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Pauline was born September 28, 1914 in Pocahontas, Arkansas the daughter of William Luther Duncan and Maudie Hurn Duncan. She spent her early years in Arkansas and Lubbock. As a teenager she moved with her parents to Hill County. On October 25, 1941 she married James Matson Corpier. They together farmed and ranched in Hill County in the Brandon and Woodbury Communities. Her most treasured moments came with her family whom she adored. She was of the Baptist faith having been a member of the Brandon Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brother, Arnold Duncan; sister, Eugenia Wilcox; and two daughters, Nettie Muesse and Ruth Kruger. Survivors include a daughter, Jolene Lehmann and husband, Henry, of Brandon; son-in-law, Herman Muesse of Hillsboro; grandson, Jimmy Lehmann of Brandon; four nieces; one nephew; and a sister-in-law, Lenore Jones of The Woodlands. Memorials may be made to the Brandon Community Center, P. O. Box 111, Brandon, TX 76628
