Pedro was born on June 12, 1930 in Sabinal, Texas, the son of the late Cruz and Victoria Flores Rodriguez. He worked as a coal miner for Whitesmines in Uvalde for several years retiring in 1984. In 1999 he moved to Whitney. Pedro loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed music and dancing. He was of the Catholic faith and attended First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney. Also preceding him in death were 3 brothers, Rosalio, Juan and Crescencio Rodriguez and 2 sisters, Maria Olivarez and Elodia Rodriguez. Survivors include his wife Isabel; children, Felipe Rodriguez and wife Mary, Alicia Hernandez, Julian Rodriguez and wife Elizabeth, Rosa Guzman and husband John, Connie Tenorio and husband Joe, Pedro O. Rodriguerz, Jr., Lupe Munoz and husband Johnny; brothers, Enemencio, Rodolfo, Eloy and Ruben Rodriguez; sister, Andrea Arredondo; 27 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
