Peggy Ann (Jordan) Slack

Peggy Ann Slack, age 87 of Morgan, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at her residence. She was born March 23, 1936, in Hillsboro, Texas to Hugh Urban and Pauline (Nash) Jordan. Peggy was united in marriage to Bobby Lee Hoyt Ball on January 30, 1954, and then later was united in marriage to Glenn Slack on May 9, 1981. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and trips to Win Star. Peggy loved her grandchildren and especially their trips to see her.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Catherine “Cat” Moses, Hugh Weldon” Buzzy” Jordan, Esther May Waller, and George Elton Jordan; her daughter, Mary Kathleen Ball; grandsons, Dewayne Taylor Ball and Canaan Ball; and daughter in law, Janie Ball.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Glenn Slack, her children, Hank Ball and wife Jan, Randy Ball and wife Ann, Tom Ball, Andy Ball and wife Elizabeth, Becky Henderson and husband Waylon, and Eric Ball and wife Elaine; stepchildren, Glenda and husband Bob ED Duddington, Albert Glenn Jr. and wife Denise Slack, Kim and Craig Harvey, and Stacey Slack; 31 grandchildren, and a host of great grandkids.
