Penny Weir

Penny Lee Weir, 49, of Watauga passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, in Whitney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Rev. Greg Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, June 3, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Penny was born August 13, 1963 in Cleburne to Marvin D. and Thressa (Gossett) West. On August 11, 1980, she married Keith Weir in Keller. A 1981 graduate of Joshua High School, she went on to obtain her associates degree in cosmetology from Aladdin Beatuy College in 1984. She worked at Wal- Mart for several years all over the United States. Penny enjoyed needlepoint and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Keith Weir; children, Abby Tuttle and husband, Robert, Bonnie Weir, and Keith Weir, Jr.; brother, Marvin Eldon West; grandson, Robert (Trey) Tuttle, III; and granddaughter, Emily Tuttle.
