Preston Glover

Preston Glover of Beaumont passed away on January 17, 2009 at the age of 72 in Bedford, Texas. He was born on June 30, 1936 in Tyler, Texas, the son of Preston and Violet Thomas Glover. He grew up in LaMarque, Texas and served in the United States Air Force from 1955 through 1959 as Tech Sgt. He graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont with an Electrical Engineering degree. Mr. Glover worked at DuPont Chemical Company in Beaumont for 31 ½ years. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Melvin Glover. He is survived by one sister, Delpha Butler and husband Bill of Elm Mott; his nephews, Keith Crawford and wife, Debbie of Bedford and Larry Crawford of Whitney; niece, Cindy Trammell of Waco; great nephew, Sean Grantham of Burnett; great niece, Tiffany Hernandez of Waco; great nephews, Kris Crawford and Kory Crawford of Whitney; great-great niece, Anyssa Hernandez of Waco.
