R. C. Pinckard

R. C. Pinckard, 87, passed away Thursday, Janaury 6, 2005, in Fort Worth. R. C. was born February 10, 1917 in Rio Vista, the son of Walter C. and Minnie Jean Pinckard. In 1942 he enlisted into the U. S. Army in Itasca and was discharged at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio in 1945. On July 3, 1974 he married Jessie Pedigo in Fort Worth. For 10 years he worked for Smidth Plumbing Co., retiring in 1982. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Preceding him in death was his parents. Survivors include his wife, Jessie M. Pinckard of Fort Worth; two step-daughters, Joyce Bland of San Diego, CA and Ruth Engle of Fort Worth; a brother, A. D. Pinckard of Burleson; three sisters, Macie Rosenbaum of Fort Worth, Muzette Fagan of Fort Worth, and Gladys Sharp of North Richland Hills; a granddaughter, Debbie Love of San Diego, CA; three grandsons, Brooks Kelly of Forth Worth, Tommy Kelly of Fort Worth, and David Engle of Fort Worth; and four nieces, Brenda Henshaw of Hurst, Betty Brown of Arlington, Beverly Lundburg of Fort Worth, and Linda Fagan of Abilene.
