Ralph Schupp, Sr

Ralph Schupp, Sr, 73, of Whitney, passed away on August 23, 2016, in Fort Worth. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 29, 2016, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney, under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors with Reverend John Moore of Steiner Independent Baptist Church officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the cemetery prior to the service.

Ralph was born on March 10, 1943, in San Antonio, to Walter and Margaret (Kuykendall) Schupp. He grew up in San Antonio and worked in gas stations, factories and other businesses. In 2000, he moved to Whitney where he enjoyed volunteering at the Food Bank and working on old cars. He was a member of Steiner Independent Baptist Church in Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Mary McConnell and her son, Timbyr Harvell.

Survivors include his son, Ralph Schupp, Jr and wife, Mary of Beeville; brothers, Walter Schupp of Killeen, William Schupp of Florida and James Schupp of North Carolina; sisters, Barbara Parker and husband, Ken of Dallas and Marian Demings of Killeen.
