Randle Dale Crow, 88, of Whitney, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Spring Hill Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana, with Rev. Josh Eubanks officiating.
Randle was born on March 1, 1925, in Burnet, to the late L.U. and Margaret Elva (Smith) Crow. He lived most of his life on the upper Texas Coast. He served his country in World War II and was very proud of his service in the United States Navy. In 1946, he married Juanita Champion and she preceded him in death in 1980. He later married Betty Richard in 1987 and she preceded him in death in 2004. He moved to Whitney in 1987, but left in l995, moving back to Conroe. However, he returned to Whitney in 2012. An avid gardener, he enjoyed yard work and wood working and he could fix anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Juanita Champion Crow and Betty Richard Crow; five brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by daughters Sharon Meyer and Mary Schmid and husband, Richard, all of Whitney; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
