Randy Holt

Randy L. Holt, 62, of Whitney, passed away on August 13, 2015, at a Hillsboro hospital. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., on Monday, August 17, 2105, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Randy was born on May 11, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Carse and Mary Jane (Elliot) Holt. Growing up, he lived in several different states and he joined the U.S. Army after high school, serving from 1973-1976. On July 19, 1991, he married Mary Gilmore. He loved watching OU football and also enjoyed bluegrass music. He was in maintenance and worked in several different locations. Randy was a member of City on a Hill Church in Fort Worth.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Holt of Whitney; his father, Corky Holt of Hurst; children, Charlotte Snell, Bre Hargrove and husband, Kaleb, all of Fort Worth and Tommy Gradolph of Ardmore, Oklahoma; a grandson, Elijah Hargrove; sister, Pam Darland of Hurst; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
