Rebecca Borgas

Rebecca Ann Borgas, 21, of West passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Mr. David Snipes officiating. Burial will follow at New Lebanon Cemetery near Aquilla. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday prior to service time.

Rebecca was born on January 28, 1997 in Temple. A very fun, outgoing, and energetic person, she enjoyed interacting, talking, and being around people. She never met a stranger. In her spare time Rebecca loved to sing and write. She was full of life.

Survivors include her father, Pete A. Borgas; mother, Nellie Gonzalez and husband, Joshua Van Smith; four brothers, Pete Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Justin Morgan, and Walter Morgan; five sisters, Destiny Morgan, Crystal Morgan, Gracie Goodwin, Bella Grace Smith, and Kristin Morgan; and grandparents, Marty and Cookie Smith.
