Renae Montes

Renae Cooper Montes, 36, of Whitney passed away on June 14, 2009. Renae was born on April 5, 1973 in Freeport, Texas. She was the daughter of Clyde Richard, Jr and Kathy Colleen Swinscoe Venable,. She was a very warm loving giving person who enjoyed helping others and always putting others before herself. She had a optimistic outlook, always enjoying and sharing life to the fullest. This was expressed through her love of music, both singing and listening to music. Her favorite Disney characters were Minnie and Mickey Mouse. She also took pleasure spending time with the Montes family going to garage sales and playing Bingo. Preceding her in death were her niece, Tessa Michelle Summers, maternal great grandfather, Pete Slough and cousin, Tracy Swinscoe. Survivors: husband, Ezekiel Montes; parents Clyde Richard Venable, Jr. and Kathy Venable; children Kayla Cooper, Jeff Cooper, Colleen Cooper all of Whitney, Ezekiel Montes, Jr. stationed in Japan, Moses Lee Montes of Kansas; sisters, Janita Summers and husband, Patrick, Donna Behnke and husband, Martin all of Whitney; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Billie Swinscoe of Whitney; paternal grandparents, Clyde, Sr. and Donna Venable of Grady, Arkansas; maternal great grandmother, Gladys Mimi Slough of Whitney; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
