Reps Davis

R.A. Davis, 70, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at his residence. Graveside Services will take place Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro.

He was born September 23, 1954, in Hillsboro, to Fred Allen and Shirley Ann (Myers) Davis. R.A. grew up in the Vaughan Community of Hill County and graduated from Abbott High School in 1973. He drove a truck for CFI for several years and worked for Gerik Farms for fifteen years. R.A. was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed scuba diving. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his father, Fred Davis; his grandparents, Reps and Stella Davis; and grandmother and grandfather, Henry and Erma Morgan, he is survived by his mother, Shirley Davis; his son, Nathan Davis and his fiancé, Lexy; his sister, Regina Horn and her husband, Ronnie; his nephew, Jeremy Horn and his niece, Lori Horn.
