Reynaldo Reyes Dominguez

Raynaldo Dominguez, 82, of Itasca, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Homestead Nursing and Rehab in Itasca.

Ray was born May 20, 1940, in Austin, Texas to Felipe and Casimira Dominguez. Raynaldo was known as “Nano” by his family and friends. If you knew Nano, you would agree that you could find him sitting outside with a cold Natural Light in his hand. Nano always had a joke to crack no matter the situation. Many of his friends and family described him as a jokester as he would always fill the room with laughter and joy. Nano would often be seen wearing his very well-known large sombrero! He also enjoyed playing dominoes and was said to be incredibly good at it.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Felipe, and Casimira Dominguez; his brothers, Juan Dominguez, Silverio Dominguez, Joe Dominguez, and Raul Dominguez; his sisters, Josephine Carranza, Esperanza Arellano, and Esther Dominguez; and his brother-in-law, George Curiel. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William, and Keely East; his brothers, Jesse Dominguez and Felipe Dominguez and wife, Nellie; his sisters, Sally and her husband Manuel Abrego, and Connie Curiel; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
