Biography

Ricardo Ramirez, 71, of Weatherford passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro with Father Ouseph Thekkumthala officiating.

Ricardo was born December 23, 1941 in Dallas to Vicente and Dolores (Lara) Ramirez. He was a 1961 graduate of Hillsboro High School and then graduated from Hill Junior College after serving in the United States Marine Corps. He was a Warrant Officer in Dallas and retired as a Transportation Inspector for the City of Dallas. Ricardo was of the Catholic faith.

Preceding him death were his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Rosemary Ramirez of Dallas and his grandchildren, Savanah Ramirez, Christina Birdwell, Tennesse Justus and Nathan Justus.
