Richard Mauzy

Richard ?Dick? Mauzy, 64, of Hillsboro passed on Thursday, December 22, 2005, at Central Texas Veteran?s Heath Care in Temple. Richard was born June 24, 1941 in Pilot Knob, Missouri, the son of Frank J. and Helen Bernice Kitchell Mauzy. He was raised in Dallas. For forty years he lived in Connecticut and for the past six years had lived at Woodbury. He designed and manufactured collimators in nuclear medicine and was of the Baptist faith. He enlisted in the Navy on July 23, 1958 and was discharged on June 22, 1962 as an ERT 2nd Class. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, John Steven Mauzy, on November 1, 2003. Survivors include a son, Richard Allen Mauzy, Jr. of Brandford, CT; brother, Frank Michael Mauzy of Hillsboro; five sisters, Patricia Ann Magouirk of Dallas, Sue E. Nabors and husband, John, of Dallas, Janet Marie Mauzy of Hurst, Judith Lea Moore and husband, Dennis G., of Dallas, and Barbara Lynn Klehfoth and husband, Jay, of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
