Rickey Lynn Fowler

On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Rickey Lynn Fowler, loving brother and father of one daughter, passed away at age 50.  A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday May 9, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions.

Rickey was born March 4, 1970, to William and Geraldine Fowler.  He was born and raised in Whitney, Texas and graduated from Whitney High School.  After high school Rickey went on to work in trades such as oil fields and construction.  Being in that line of work gave him the opportunity to travel and see new places, which was one thing that he enjoyed.   A suit and tie outfit did not fit his style, he should have had stock in Wrangler as that was all he wore along with his cowboy hat.  He was an honest man and a very hard worker and had many friends and family that he cared about, especially his beautiful daughter that he loved to spend time with.

He was preceded in death by his father and his mother.  He is survived by his daughter, Piper; his brothers, James and William; his sister, Lisa; and several cousins, nieces and nephews; friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten.
