Robbie Jean (Lancaster) Humphrey

Robbie Jean Humphrey, age 93, of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2021, in Plano, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:00pm under the direction of Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m.- Noon prior to the service. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery. Face masks and social distancing  required.

Robbie was born on November 8, 1927 in Covington, Texas to Ottis Eugene Lancaster and Lula (Johnson) Lancaster Southward. She was raised in Hillsboro, where she met and married Harvey Lee Humphrey in 1946. Spending the next several years together and starting to plan a family, they moved to a home in Farmers Branch in 1956 where she spent the next 64 years. We have all been Blessed knowing Robbie. She called her friends 'her running buddies' and some may remember her as ‘MS FOXY or from her bowling years. Those who call her Grandma will cherish her quirky nicknames for them like Scooter or Tootsie along with many trips to Grandy's, El Fenix, Olive Garden, or her banana pudding. Everyone will remember her amazing laugh, love of frogs, roosters, and Mickey Mouse.

Robbie Jean is survived by her children, Yolanda Jean Roe, Alan Craig Humphrey, Duane Cornell Humphrey and Becky; her Grandchildren, Robert Lee Roe and Paula, Angela Jean Roe, Jessica Nicole Muniz and Eddie, Courtney Chase Humphrey and Dustin, Ashley Renee Neal; Great Grandchildren, Jacob Field Mathany, Ian Alexander Muniz, Keyomi Elon Renee Robinson, Zadie Franziska Muniz, and Dexton Korbyn Neal; Two sisters, Theata Jo Daniels and Sylvia Lancaster Burns along with countless other family and friends who meant the world to her.

Robbie Jean was preceded in death by both of her parents, Ottis Eugene Lancaster and Lula Johnson Lancaster Southward; her Husband, Harvey Lee Humphrey; a younger brother, Billy Ray Lancaster.

The family would like to thank Prestonwood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility in Plano, Texas. Their attention, care, patience, and compassion has been a blessing to Robbie and everyone who loves her.
